Jack Leash Your FitnessLeash Your fitness is all about being active with your pet. We have daily fitness classes and monthly activities like yoga, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc.  Anything to spice up your daily dog walks so that you can bond with your best furry friend and get a great workout.   Jack is our Cairn Terrier mascot who will keep you updated on all of the fun events that he has coming up and show you photos of the ones that we already had.  We plan on doing a lot of communication through this blog so please visit often and feel free to leave your comments.

Wow!! It was a HOT weekend in San Diego.  How about where you live?  This week, I would like to remind everyone to drink plenty of WATER!!  Drinking water does more than quench your thirst,  your body is over 60% water and many of your body functions rely on water.  A good rule of thumb is to drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water so if you weigh 130 lbs, shoot for 65 ounces of water a day.  If you are working out and sweating or drinking alcohol, you will have to increase that amount. How do you breath?  Have you ever thought about it?  Some people hold their breath which is not good for many reasons.  Others mouth breath.  Others shallow breath and few belly breath.  Do this simple exercise.
